Fáfnir is the king of Niðavellir, realm of the dvergar. He’s also the adoptive brother of Ótr and Reginn, whom he raised after they were orphaned in the chaos that followed the death of the previous king.

Unusually, Fáfnir doesn’t come from dvergar royalty—he was a soldier who rose up to become king. And he was known as a kind ruler long ago, but at some point, he changed completely…

This was the Fáfnir who attacked Askr, and he almost succeeded in wiping out the Order of Heroes.

Some parts of Fáfnir’s memory are a blur, and at times he suffers from terrible headaches. I wonder, could the thing he’s looking for have something to do with his memories of the past?
