In order to bring about his master’s return, Validar plotted to take the life of Emmeryn, the exalt of Ylisse, who stood in the way of his plans.

His attempt failed, but he was successful in provoking a war on the continent through his servant Aversa, who had the ear of Gangrel, Plegia’s king.

Wielding terrible dark magic, Validar continued to plot in the shadows as he worked tirelessly toward Grima’s resurrection. Well, I suppose it’s a relief of sorts that a fearsome foe like him is on our side for now…somehow!
