As a member of the Four Hounds, Marni opposed Alear, who was gathering the Emblem Rings to stop the return of Sombron.

It was pretty clear what she was thinking then too—she giggled with glee at the thought of being praised by Sombron and her fellow Hounds for stealing the Emblem Rings from Alear!
