In fact, the Vanaheimr that Gróa came from belongs to a future world. She came here to the present to search for her younger twin sister, Alvíg, who went missing.

Hoping to find out what became of her sister, Gróa approached Seiðr, a fellow goddess of Vanaheimr, for help.

Gróa calls Seiðr “Mother,” but if you ask me, they look just like sisters! I’ll bet Alvíg looks just like her too!
