Claud is the duke of Edda, a duchy of Grannvale on the continent of Jugdral. He’s a kind-hearted priest who’s descended from the crusader Bragi!

The prince of Grannvale had been assassinated, right as tensions in the neighboring lands were mounting. Suspicions were aimed at House Chalphy, but Claud had his doubts.

Though he sensed a plot, he could turn up little evidence. And so, Claud decided to make his way to the Tower of Bragi in order to learn the truth through a divine revelation.

This would be no mean feat, as the northwestern isle where the Tower of Bragi stood was a dangerous place close to a pirate stronghold. Welcoming the protection of the talented mage Tailtiu, Claud braved the risks and ventured on.

A noblewoman from Friege and descendant of the crusader Thrud. She appears cheerful but is hiding her troubles. Accompanies Claud on his journey as his bodyguard.

Sigurd

Heir to Chalphy, descendant of the crusader Baldr, and Seliph’s father. He’s courageous and has a strong sense of justice. Claud informs him about the plot that is afoot in Grannvale.
