Byleth is the son of Jeralt, the former knight captain who made a name for himself across the continent of Fódlan for his service with the Knights of Seiros.

For a while, Byleth traveled the continent as a mercenary, going from one battle to the next, before he received an offer to teach at the Officers Academy. It’s not every day a mercenary gets handpicked for a job like that!

Byleth wields a legendary weapon called the Sword of the Creator. The legends said that only heroes of old could harness its power, but somehow, Byleth can too! I wonder what’s going on there?

Byleth isn’t much of a talker, but his shrewd judgment and fighting skills have more than won his students’ respect. I bet he’ll make a great asset to the Order of Heroes!
