Here’s Athena! She’s a swordswoman who fought on the continent of Archanea, but I hear that she comes from somewhere else entirely.

She was found adrift in the sea near a small village, having been swept all the way to Archanea. Grateful for the villagers’ aid, she fought to defend them from pirates.

It was during the battle with the pirates that she was helped by Marth, prince of Altea. Athena’s code of honor demanded that she repay this debt, and so she joined his army.

Marth counted on Athena’s combat prowess, and eventually, she was training members of Altea’s royal guard. I guess she’s still paying that favor back!
