The duke of Felirae, Ludveck is a powerful nobleman of Crimea with a distant relation to the royal family. He’s also a zealous patriot with high-minded ideals regarding Crimea’s protection.

After the war with Daein, Elincia became Crimea’s queen. However, Elincia’s deep kindness made her seem like a weak hypocrite to Ludveck.

Fearful for Crimea’s future, Ludveck raised a rebel army. He then took Elincia’s retainer, Lucia, hostage and demanded that Elincia abdicate.

However, the rebellion failed, and Ludveck was forced to surrender. He then made another demand: the Crimean throne in exchange for Lucia’s life. But Elincia would not listen to his threats—and Ludveck’s ambitions came to a sorry end…
