Frederick is one of Ylisse’s most devoted knights, and you’ll never guess what—we’re joined by his childhood self today!

Here he is, toting a massive shield on his back to keep the Ylissean royal family safe. I hear the pouch on his waist is full of pebbles that he picked up to prevent a potentially fatal tripping hazard for Chrom.

He’s also wielding an axe for this outing. It looks rather heavy, especially for a child, but it seems that Frederick was super strong even at this age!

Frederick has always been a strong and dedicated knight, it seems! Though I have to admit, I’m a little surprised that he was keeping watch for pebbles so early into his career!
